Johnny Abush Homo History - Johnny Abush and the Jewish GLBT Archives
The founder of one of the world's largest collections of queer Jewish history passed away recently. Johnny Abush started his Jewish GLBT Archives in his Toronto home in 1990 after being diagnosed with AIDS. When the 10,000 artifacts and 1,000 books outgrew both his home and his health, Abush donated his collection and its accompanying "Twice Blessed" This link will open in a new browser window web site to the ONE/IGLA Judaica Collection at the University of Southern California.
   Note that the Judaica Collection will continue to house these materials and host the web site, but is looking for volunteers to keep the site updated. Contact oneigla@usc.edu for more information.
