"Benchmark" and "Bathhouse Suite"
10%-Qtv checks out a double-bill of comedy by Canadian playwright Ken Brand, on at Buddies in Bad Times Theater This link will open in a new browser window from March 3 to 15. "Benchmarks" is a comedic look at a gay rebel who dies of AIDS, and "The Bathhouse Suite" explores the lives of some gay bathhouse regulars. The plays are presented by the Ladies Auxiliary Theatrical Cooperative, a new production company that helps to support its members by mounting plays by little-known queer writers and casting them with little-known queer actors. Speaking of which :-), you may recognize Qtv's own Gordon MacKeracher, who co-produced/starred in our "Miles to Go" series and played Spock in our recent "Queer Trek."
